Everywhere you look their seems to be a promotional advertisment  for the newest addition to the Nintendo family, namely the Wii Fit.

The popularity of this “revolutionary” new addition to the societies of the developed world goes from strength to strength despite an often chronic shortage of any new applications  hardware which has in the past left many stores allowing only one item per customer and a mark up of over 100% of the retail price on Ebay.

I and the makers of the above short video may be wrong but surely there is a huge contradiction between encouraging people to stay fit indoors via a computer game and the fact that much of  the developed world is suffering from an obesity epidemic.

What worries me more than this though is the fact that games manufacturers might soon cater to the obvious demand for more inciduous applications of this technology :P
