After recent news of experiments in the late 1940′s that hundreds of un-consenting Guatemalans were deliberately infected with gonorrhoea and syphilis, in order to dertermine the spreading capabilities of the diseases, you could be forgiven for thinking “well that was a long time ago, they wouldn’t allow that now”.

The story reminded me of some other experiments they surely ”wouldn’t allow these days

1. Surely, they wouldn’t experiment with aspartame in order to see whether society could be dumned (or is that dumbed down? :P ) would they?

2. Surely they wouldn’t experiment with water fluoridation in the drinking water of British society if they knew it was poisonous, would they?
